Phase 4 of Disney+ and the post-Infinity Saga era of the MCU are on post-San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. It has been three years since Marvel Studios last hosted a panel at the convention. Marvel Studios has taken over San Diego Comic-Con this weekend for the first time in three years.
Marvel MCU Phase 5 - Upcoming Movies and Shows

A number of movies have been released since the last time Marvel Studios appeared at Comic-Con in 2019, when Thor: Love and Thunder debuted. Since then, there have been over a dozen new shows and films that have been announced, making it difficult to identify what else is in store.

The most important question is whether Phase 4 will continue for a long time, since there were no indications at the time of the last event that the next slate of films would soon end. Phase 4 will conclude and Phase 5 will begin with a large batch of announcements at Comic-Con.

The Multiverse Saga starts from phase 5 Of MCU, but it all started from Spiderman No way Home and Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness.
Phase 5 and Phase 6 era of Marvel Cinematic Universe will be the Multiverse Saga.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Marvel MCU Phase 5 - Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania

Phase 5 will begin in 2023 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will be released on February 17, 2023. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return as Ant-Man and The Wasp to continue their adventures. Hope's parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), join them in exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Secret Invasion

During the presentation, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion will be available on Disney+ in Spring 2023.

Cobie Smulders, who returns as Maria Hill, a decorated spy and Nick Fury's loyal #2, was on hand to discuss the new show.

"This is a darker show," Smulders warned the audience. "We'll delve deeper into the characters. We'll see them in new ways, and it'll be an exciting thriller in which you'll never know who people are. Is it a Skrull? Is this person human? It'll be a bit of a guessing game."

Footage shown in the room emphasised the MCU's darker tone, with the opening clip showing a conversation between Hill and Fury — he's been off-world for years ignoring her calls, but he's finally returned because the threat is too great. But how bad is it really? As things between the two men become tense, Fury is seen asking James "Rhodey" Rhodes — aka War Machine — how well he knows his assigned protection.
Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Skrull Talos, both of whom first appeared in Captain Marvel. Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman join them.

The crossover event series follows a group of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for many years.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' of Marvel Studios will release in theaters on May 5, 2023.
Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced during the presentation that Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released in theatres on May 5, 2023, with a new logo. Many Guardians were present to discuss the highly anticipated third instalment of "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Cast members Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova (who plays Cosmo the dog) participated in an engaging discussion led by director James Gunn. Chukwudi Iwuji took the stage in costume, revealing to the audience that he will play High Evolutionary in the film.

The footage shown in Hall H made everyone emotional, both on stage and in the audience, as Gunn noted that this is the end of this arc for the Guardians crew.

"I think it's really been about telling one story across three films with a couple of sideways adventures," he told the audience. "But I believe it is all about one story. This is the final arc that we began with Peter Quill, Rocket, and seeing where Nebula goes, as well as Kraglin, who started out saying one or two lines in the first movie and is now a main Guardian of the Galaxy."
But, before they can reach the end, this motley crew must return to the beginning. Specifically, the beginning of Rocket. The film will go into detail about his early years, and if you thought Baby Groot was adorable, just WAIT until you see Baby Rocket.
"I was like, I don't know, it sounds a little goofy when I first started doing Guardians of the Galaxy. I was expecting Bugs Bunny to join the Avengers "Gunn went on. "But then I wondered, if there is a talking raccoon, how real is he? What is his background? I realised he was the saddest creature in the universe, and to a large extent, that is what this story is about."

Another sad part of the film? In his address to the audience, Pratt stated that Star-Lord is still reeling from the events of Avengers: Endgame, given that his love of his life, Gamora, no longer knows who he is. Yes, bring on the tears.

Our beloved misfits are looking a little different in Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Peter Quill, still reeling from Gamora's death, must rally his team around him in order to defend the universe while also protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, may spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Marvel MCU Phase 5 Slate

Phase 5 Blowing the Multiversal Doors Open
After three years away from San Diego's Comic-Con, Marvel Studios has unveiled all of the locations in the arena.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicked off Phase 5 with a wild ride through the Multiverse. In Ant-Man and the Wasp, the MCU travelled back and forth from outer space(Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3) to the ground (Echo and Ironheart).

In spite of the fact that Phase 6 films like Fantastic Four were not announced, there was still a lot of exciting story material to be had.
In Comic-Con, Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have now officially been confirmed to appear in Daredevil: Reborn Again, finally allowing the Man Without Fear to fully come to life under the Marvel Studios umbrella.

With the addition of the MCU's Thunderbolts team up and Anthony Mackie's first solo film, it's clear that Marvel isn't slowing down anytime soon. The recently announced Multiverse Saga will be the middle portion of this new line of movies, continuing what the Infinity Saga started all the way back in 2008.

Only time and space will tell what else joins the fray. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will debut on February 17, 2023, starting Phase 5 of the MCU.
