Russia and Ukraine Ongoing Conflict (War)
It is believed that this time the reason for the fight between Ukraine and Russia is NATO.
The War between Russia and Ukraine started few years ago in 2014.
Why Russia and Ukraine are fighting ?
Over the past few months, Russia has deployed hundreds of its tanks, artillery and short-range ballistic missiles in the distant but within striking range of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin did not want Ukraine to ever join NATO and launch its own missile strike system. Vladimir Putin did not get the reply he expected.
Casualties In Ukraine After Russia Attacked
According to the Office of UN High Commissioner of Human Rights OHCHR
, 1,123 casualties have verified: 364 killed, including 25 children and 759 injured from the day of invasion 24 February 2022 on 04:00 local time to midnight on 5 March 2022.
All of those casualties are caused by explosive weapons with huge impact area , including multi launch rocket system 🚀, air strikes and shelling of heavy artillery.
According to OHCHR, the real figures are higher especially in Government Controlled Territory.
